Diversidad

Diversidad was launched in 2008 by the European Music Office (www.emo.org) thanks to the support of the European Commission. A dozen of European artists recorded a single and proved that despite the language barrier and the different cultural backgrounds, exchanging and collaborating together is possible.
In 2008, Diversidad produced different actions in some European cities (Paris, Barcelone, Berlin, Madrid, Stockholm, Lyon, Vienne):

•    Recording a single : produced by Spike Miller (FR), Scratch by DJ Cruzfader (PT), Artists : Abd al Malik (FR), Akhenaton/IAM (FR), Baloji (BE), Curse (DE), Mucho Muchacho/7 Notas 7 Colores (ES), Nikkfurie/La Caution (FR), Noora Noor (NO), Promoe/Looptroop Rockers (SE), Sam The Kid (PT), Shurik’n/IAM (FR).

•    A residence and exhibition of graffiti artists: Aroe (UK), Don (FR), Can2 (DE), Nychos (AT), Zenoy (FR).
•    A dj show with: Next Level (BE), Goldfinger Crew (ES), The Disablists (UK), Traumateam (FR), Exodus (GE), Symphonix (AT).
•    Conferences with some European experts about the urban culture.
•    Producing a documentary: showing the enthusiastic involvement of all the participants in the project.
